⚠️ Short Information: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the UPTET 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip (Advt. No. 01/UPTET/2026) on 22 June 2026 at upessc.up.gov.in. Nearly 20 lakh registered candidates can now download their allotted Exam City & Shift details using their Registration Number / Mobile Number and Date of Birth. The Exam City Slip is NOT the Admit Card — the final Admit Card will be released on 30 June 2026. Exam is scheduled for 02, 03 & 04 July 2026 across 955 centres in 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Q4. Is the Exam City Slip the same as the Admit Card?
No. The Exam City Intimation Slip and the Admit Card are two different documents:
- City Slip: Shows only the allotted exam city, exam date, and shift timing. It does not contain the exact exam centre address.
- Admit Card: Contains the candidate's name, roll number, exact exam centre address, reporting time, photograph, and full exam instructions. This is the mandatory entry pass on exam day.

Q9. UPTET 2026 में Negative Marking है क्या?
नहीं। UPTET 2026 में किसी भी Paper (Paper I या Paper II) में कोई Negative Marking नहीं है। प्रत्येक सही उत्तर के लिए 1 अंक दिया जाएगा। गलत उत्तर के लिए कोई अंक नहीं काटा जाएगा। प्रत्येक Paper में कुल 150 MCQ प्रश्न होंगे और अधिकतम अंक 150 होंगे।

Candidates must secure the following minimum marks out of 150 to qualify UPTET 2026:

Q11. UPTET Certificate की Validity कितनी है?
UPTET 2026 से जारी होने वाला प्रमाण पत्र (Certificate) Lifetime के लिए Valid होगा। यह एक बड़ा बदलाव है — पहले UPTET Certificate की वैधता सीमित थी। अब एक बार qualify करने पर अभ्यर्थी को बार-बार परीक्षा देने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
