2. Document Verification (DV) & Physical Standard Test (PST) — conducted on 15 & 16 June 2026

A total of 15,75,760 candidates had registered for the UP Police SI 2025 Recruitment. Of those who appeared in the written exam, only those who qualified were shortlisted for DV/PST, and only those who cleared DV/PST are now eligible for PET.

Candidates are assigned to specific dates and venues as mentioned on their admit card. Report to the assigned venue well before the entry gate closes. Time, shift, and venue details are printed on the individual admit card.

3. Enter your Registration Number / Enrollment Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
4. Enter the Captcha code and click the Submit / Login button
5. Your PET Admit Card will appear on screen — verify all details carefully
6. Download the admit card as a PDF and take a clear printout
7. Carry the printed admit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID to the PET venue

Tip: If you face login issues, try clearing browser cache, using a different browser (Chrome / Firefox), or accessing during off-peak hours. Keep multiple printed copies of the admit card.

⚠️ PET is purely qualifying — no marks are awarded. Candidates who do not complete the run within the time limit will be disqualified from the final merit list. Always verify exact physical standards from the official notification PDF.

• Printed PET Admit Card 2026 — mandatory for entry; no candidate will be allowed without it
• Valid Original Government Photo ID — Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence
• Appropriate sportswear / running attire — for the running test; comfortable sports shoes are mandatory
• Passport-size photographs (if specified in the admit card instructions)
• Any other document specifically mentioned on the admit card

🚫 Do NOT carry: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic gadgets. Metal jewelry and heavy accessories must be removed before the running test for safety reasons.

Post-wise: Sub Inspector (Civil Police — Male & Female): 4,242 posts; Platoon Commander PAC / SI Armed Police (Male): as per notification; Platoon Commander / SI Special Security Force (Male): as per notification; Female SI Women Battalion (Female): as per notification.

• Minimum Qualification: Graduation Degree (Bachelor's Degree) from any stream from a University established by Law in India, or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India / UP Government.
• Important Note: Candidates who had only appeared in the graduation exam (awaiting results) at the time of application were NOT eligible. The degree/marksheet must have been in hand at the time of application.
• Preferential Qualifications: NCC 'B' Certificate holders or candidates with at least 2 years of Territorial Army service may receive preference in case of a tie in the merit list (as per UP Police rules).

A special one-time age relaxation of 3 additional years was granted to all candidates for this recruitment cycle, as per the Uttar Pradesh Government order dated 26 May 2025 — making the effective maximum age 31 years for General category candidates.

Payment was accepted online via RuPay Card / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Net Banking / IMPS / Cash Card / Mobile Wallet, or cash deposit at any SBI branch. The fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances. The application window was open from 12 August 2025 to 11 September 2025.

1. Stage 1 — Written Examination (OMR-based): 160 objective questions, 400 marks, 2 hours. Sections: General Hindi (40Q), Basic Law / Constitution / General Knowledge (40Q), Numerical & Mental Ability (40Q), Mental Aptitude / IQ / Reasoning (40Q). Minimum 35% per section and 50% overall required to qualify. No negative marking. Held on 14–15 March 2026.
2. Stage 2 — Document Verification (DV) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Verification of original documents. Height, chest, and weight measured as per UPPRPB norms. Conducted on 15–16 June 2026.
3. Stage 3 — Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running test — Male: 4.8 km in 28 minutes; Female: 2.4 km in 16 minutes. Qualifying in nature (no marks added). Scheduled 29–30 June 2026 (Reserve: 01 July 2026).
4. Stage 4 — Medical Examination: Medical fitness check as per UP Police health standards.
5. Stage 5 — Final Merit List & Character/Antecedent Verification: Final selection based entirely on written exam scores. PET and PST are qualifying only. Character and antecedent verification completed before appointment.

⚠️ PET carries NO marks. The entire final merit list is prepared based on Written Exam scores only — PET is pass/fail only.

⚠️ Even if a candidate scores highest in the written exam but fails PET, they will NOT be selected. PET is a mandatory pass/fail gate for final appointment.

Exact number of candidates qualifying DV/PST and proceeding to PET was not separately notified. Only candidates who cleared both the written exam shortlisting AND DV/PST are eligible to download the PET admit card.
